Michele received her B.F.A. in Painting from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Connecticut. Her oil painting style evolved from a classical art background. She continues to use Renaissance materials, such as handmade paint and linen supports, to enhance the longevity and luminosity of her work. She paints figures, animals and architecture with simplified geometric shapes and a vibrant palette. Her indistinct style is a synthesis between abstraction and realism and prompts the viewer to develop their own narrative.
Michele's illustrations are inspired by ecology, sustainability, health and wellness. With modern digital tools she builds scenes that combine traditional techniques and textures. Her digital prints represent a new direction for her style.
Michele has been exhibiting and selling her art in the SF Bay Area, since 2002. Her work is a part of private art collections in the USA and abroad.
